They are ready after a maximum of 15 minutes of baking and can be enjoyed after a very short cooling time. Hach ... still so slightly warm with a glass of milk or a latte macchiato ... yummy! White Chocolate Macadamia Cookies

Ingredients for the cookies:

(for about 24 pieces)

  • 125g soft butter, cut into pieces
  • 100g sugar
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract* or 1 sachet of bourbon vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 200g flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 5-10 drops of butter-vanilla flavor
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 125g macadamia nuts, roasted and salted
  • 100g white chocolate

Prepare White Chocolate Macadamia Cookies:

  1. Roughly chop the nuts and chocolate into pieces. (Size to taste).
  2. If you don't like the macadamia nuts that salty, you can rub them with a kitchen towel beforehand.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C top / bottom heat (160 ° C hot air / circulating air).
  4. Mix the butter with the sugar, the brown sugar, the vanilla extract and the egg until foamy.
  5. Add flour, salt and baking powder and mix everything together to form a homogeneous dough.
  6. Finally add the chopped chocolate and nuts and fold in.
  7. Spread the dough with two teaspoons (I like to use a small ice cream scoop) with enough space between two baking sheets (or two magic stones) lined with baking paper.
  8. Then bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes. With upper-lower heat, the cookies must be baked one after the other.
  9. You're done when the edge starts to tan slightly.
  10. First place the baking sheets on a cooling rack for a few minutes and let the cookies cool down a little, then carefully remove them and let the finished White Chocolate Macadamia Cookies cool down completely on the cooling rack.

Preparation with the Thermomix:

  1. Put the chocolate in pieces in the mixing bowl, coarsely chop for 4 - 5 seconds / speed 7 and transfer.
  2. Put the nuts in the mixing bowl and coarsely chop for 2-3 seconds / speed 5, also transfer.
  3. Put the butter in pieces, the sugar, the brown sugar, the vanilla extract and the egg in the mixing bowl, 40 sec / speed 4.
  4. Add the flour, salt and baking powder and stir for 30 seconds / speed 4 to form a homogeneous dough.
  5. Add chopped chocolate and nuts, turn left for 30 sec / speed 2.5.
  6. Spread the dough with two teaspoons (I like to use a small ice cream scoop) with enough space between two baking sheets (or two magic stones) lined with baking paper.
  7. Then bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes. With upper-lower heat, the cookies must be baked one after the other.
  8. You're done when the edge starts to tan slightly.
  9. First place the baking sheets on a cooling rack for a few minutes and let the cookies cool down a little, then carefully remove them and let the finished White Chocolate Macadamia Cookies cool down completely on the cooling rack.
