Mon Cheri liqueur with nougat

Valentine's Day is just around the corner ... the day of lovers. Since my sweetheart likes to nibble on Mon Chéri pralines for life and doesn't say no to a good liqueur, a Mon Cheri liqueur is definitely a good choice for Valentine's Day, right? ♥

Still, to be honest, I'm not that enthusiastic about all the hoopla. Because in every shop there is all sorts of things to buy for this day. We should buy, buy, buy ... I even saw cans of Coke recently packed for Valentine's Day. Everyone as he likes, but that's all too commercial for me personally.

February 14th is a day of remembrance for Saint Valentine, a Roman bishop. In principle, Valentine's Day is also a very nice thing, but a small gesture or attention is actually quite sufficient, don't you think? In any case, it should come from the heart, in my opinion that is the most important thing. And what comes more from the heart than something lovingly homemade?
