Many of them will soon be starting their big Christmas bakery ... or have you already started? Cookies and biscuits of all kinds are also something nice, but I always find cookies particularly tasty and they are always super quick and easy to bake. So also perfectly suitable for joint preparation with children. Meanwhile, my two bake cookies almost all by themselves. Of course, I only prefer to be careful when the stove is hot. Aside from today's cookies, my kids also love them Smarties cookies most notably. Sure ... children love it colorful and they enjoy eating when they are prepared. But those are the moments that you will remember fondly later on. In any case, I still remember exactly how great I found it as a child to bake cookies and other goodies with my grandma or mom. Wonderful and formative memories that have certainly contributed to my passion for baking and cooking today.

Personally, I like mine best today Sends Peanuts Toffee Cookies, Christmas cookies and White Chocolate Macadamia Cookies. By the way, mine are also very popular here on the blog Black & White Double Chocolate Chip Cookies as well as the Peanut butter chocolate chip cookieswhich, by the way, are baked without flour and are therefore gluten-free. But since we are talking about these wickedly delicious Choco Cookies with M & M's, I don't digress any further and here is the recipe for you ... ♥

INGREDIENTS for the Choco Cookies with M & M's:

(for 20-24 pieces)
  • 125g soft butter, cut into pieces
  • 100g sugar
  • 80g brown sugar or whole cane sugar
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 180g flour (also spelled if you like)
  • 20g baking cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • approx. 125g M & M's (or other chocolate lentils)

Prepare Choco Cookies with M & M's:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C top / bottom heat (160 ° C hot air / circulating air).
  2. Mix the butter with the sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract and egg until frothy.
  3. Mix the flour with the baking powder and add together with the cocoa and salt. Mix everything briefly but thoroughly to form a homogeneous dough.
  4. Finally add half of the M & M's and fold in.
  5. Spread the dough with two teaspoons (I like to use a small ice cream scoop) with enough space between two baking sheets lined with baking paper.
  6. Distribute the remaining M & M's on the portioned dough and press lightly.
  7. Then bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes. (With upper-lower heat, the cookies must be baked one after the other.)
  8. You're done when the edge starts to tan slightly.
  9. First place the baking sheets on a cooling rack for a few minutes and allow the cookies to cool down a little, then carefully pull down with the baking paper and let them cool down completely on the cooling rack.

PREPARATION WITH THE THERMOMIX:

  1. Put the butter, sugar, brown sugar as well as the vanilla extract and the egg in the mixing bowl, 40 seconds / speed 4.
  2. Add the flour, salt and baking powder and stir for 30 seconds / speed 4 to form a homogeneous dough.
  3. Add half of the M & M's, stir in for 30 seconds / speed 2.5 / counterclockwise.
  4. Spread the dough with two teaspoons (I like to use a small ice cream scoop) with enough space between two baking sheets lined with baking paper.
  5. Distribute the remaining M & M's on the portioned dough and press lightly.
  6. Then bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes. (With upper-lower heat, the cookies must be baked one after the other.)
